A small French pastry flavoured with dark rum and fairtrade Bourbon Vanilla from Madagascar with a soft and tender custard centre and a dark, thick caramelised crust. It takes the shape of a small, striated cylinder up to five centimetres in height with a depression at the top.
The Canelés is made with cage-free eggs, organic flour, fairtrade sugar, Hokkaido milk, French butter and flavoured with Bourbon Vanilla from Madagascar and white rum.
