The croissant is dairy free as they are turned with fairtrade Coconut Butter & Sprayed with Maple syrup. The croissant contains Gluten. The French breakfast by excellence.
In French Culture we say the croissant should be made with butter, yet it makes them heavier.
We looked for years for a suitable alternative to tour into the croissant sourdough we call polish and then we found this incredible and fairtrade Coconut butter made in the Philippines, this makes the Croissant 100% plant based and planet friendly, does contain zero trans fat.
Coconut butter also creates a lighter and tender baking texture and technically outperforms dairy butter. We also have reduced significantly our carbon food print by using a regional ethically sourced product.
Keep them longer give then a reheat them on a grid in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 4 to 5 minutes.
